NOC - Cloud Security Operator
We would like to expand our NOC team with experienced operators and talented cloud engineers
As a Cloud Security Operator you will manage and support cloud and security solutions for our customers. You will have specific responsibilities towards our cloud-deployed service regarding daily operations, automation and service development.
You will be working closely with our customers, many of which are among Norway’s largest and most well-known companies and organisations, in both private and public sector. In addition, you will be given the chance to work in-depth with the security products and cloud vendors you would like to specialise in or already know well. You will interact with customers of different maturation in their cloud-journey, and can influence their secure adoption of cloud computing.

You will be working with
As a Cloud Security Operator, you will become an integral part of our cloud security program. You will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of tasks, for example:
- Implementing new solutions on cloud platforms (Primarily Azure, as well as AWS and GCP)
- Participating in the development of new services in the cloud
- Participating in automation tasks related to daily operations
- Qualifying and executing security policy and configuration changes
- Handling live issues with the rest of the NOC team and customers, including troubleshooting and follow-up
- Contributing to customer projects, like revision of security policies, migrating systems, setting up new functionality and security solutions
- Configuration, evaluation and maintenance of security products in our cloud-lab environment
- Contact with manufacturers for follow-up
- 2nd line in shift during business hours (8-16), optionally 24/7 on-call duty 4 weeks a year
- Reporting, both internally and to customers
The vendors we work with include, but are not limited to, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, F5 Networks, Cisco (Routing/switching, security), public-cloud vendors such as Azure, AWS and GCP and native security functionality within the platforms.
What you will bring

- Has the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information, verbally and in writing
- Communicates well in both Norwegian and English
- Has relevant skills with cloud platforms and Azure in specific
- Is passionate about automating and simplifying recurring tasks
- Is able to remain calm in stressful situations
- Believes security should be a business enabler

Operations is known for quick response and skillful handling of all customer enquiries. We work with operations, support, and lifecycle management on cyber security products. This can be stand-alone solutions for larger customers, or as part of a larger service delivery. We also operate a network operations center (NOC). Everyone in our group has extensive product knowledge and has undergone training in order to assist with incident response.
